Insurance
All towing vehicles are required to have complete insurance coverage. A valid insurance card representing the towing vehicle must be shown at time of departure of the ATV or cargo trailer. Proof of collision insurance must also be shown. Many insurance companies extend coverage to rental units. It is the responsibility of the renter to know what their individual insurance covers.
Utah RV Rentals can provide collision coverage for $5.00 per day with a $500.00 deductible. The $500.00 deductible will be PRE- AUTHORIZED ONLY on your credit card.
Trailer Hitch and Wiring
The towing vehicle must be equipped with a secure bolted or welded hitch. All travel trailers require a 2 5/16” ball.
Watch a video about the advantages of an equalizer hitch
Standard ball height is 22 – 24 inches from the ground to top of ball (keep in mind the trailer will weigh down vehicle) for all travel trailers. The trailer should ride level with the towing vehicle. If there are questions on ball height, give us a call.

If electrical is not working at the time of pick-up a charge of $50.00 per hour will be charged to repair and fix your wiring. To insure that you do not have any additional charges, make sure your wiring is working before your time of pick-up. Arrangements can be made with Utah RV Rentals to check the electrical connections PRIOR to your departure date.
Travel trailers require a round seven connector shown below.
